We offer an analogue modem for analogue telephone connections which can be used to connect the plant to the internet via the normal telephone line. This ensures that the Solar-Log™ is at all times able to distribute messages in the form of emails or SMS and to supply Solar-Log™ WEB with online data even if there is no fixed internet connection available at the site of installation.

Mobile radio
The mobile radio modem is often the appropriate solution for plants which are set up outside the range of an internet connection. This ensures that the Solar-Log™ is at all times able to distribute messages in the form of emails or SMS and to supply Solar-Log™ WEB with online data. Software and hardware used in the transfer of data are already pre-configured; a SIM card with a contract allowing the transfer of data from a provider of your choice is required for operation.

Solar-Log™ RS485 Wireless Package
The Solar-Log™ RS485 Wireless Package combines the Solar-Log™ with the inverter over large distance. In many cases the Solar-Log™ RS485 Wireless Package is the practical alternative to a modem or mobile radio package.
- Range: 80 m inside buildings, 500 m in open areas with direct view
- Range able to be extended by several kilometers using special antenna

PowerLine Package
The PowerLine Package is the trouble-free alternative to a network cable and enables connection to the PC via the power network. Simply plug in and go. The PowerLine Package consists of two modules with integrated network connection and USB connection. One module remains near the Solar-Log™, the other is inserted into a power socket near the PC and they are thus connected to each other. The package can be expanded as required. Mixed operation using a WLAN network is also possible.

RS485 Special PiggyBack
The Special PiggyBack enables communication between the Solar-Log1000 and the inverters. It is suitable for all SMA string inverters except SB4000/5000TL-20 and represents a low cost alternative to the SMA RS485 PiggyBack. The Special PiggyBack is a simple RS485 interface converter without a controller and without its own "intelligence" and may only be used together with Solar-Log1000.
