Laura lacht, schüttelt die Lockenmähne, dann
wird sie wieder ernst und sagt: „Ich will eben
spüren, dass ich lebe!“ Sie tanzt, spielt Basketball, liebt Musik und Theater, reist gerne und
liest viel – gerne auch mehrere Bücher parallel.

Laura weiß, was sie will und verfolgt ihre Ziele
beharrlich: „Ich kämpfe für die Dinge, die ich
erreichen will!“. Von Anfang an wollte sie in den
Umweltbereich. Erneuerbare Energien haben
Laura schon immer fasziniert. Mit dem ihr eigenen kompromisslosen Willen und Wissbegierde
ging sie voran. Eine Anstellung im Projektmanagement bei der Solera GmbH führte sie 2012
ins schwäbischen Binsdorf. An diesem Standort
hat auch die Firma Solare Datensysteme GmbH
ihren Stammsitz. Der Weg zu Solar-LogTM war
daher räumlich und inhaltlich kein allzu weiter
mehr.
Ihre erste Station bei Solar-LogTM ab 2017 war
der internationale technische Support. Schon
immer faszinierten sie Management-Aufgaben.
Heute als Projekt- und Produktmanagerin gehören diese zum täglichen Arbeitsfeld. Themen
wie Planung, Organisation, Effizienzsteuerung,
Einführung neuer Arbeitsprozesse sind ihr täglich Brot.

nicht auslasten, ist sie als Mitglied in einem Astroverein

not a man for crises, but one for challenges and solutions.
An appealing challenge – this is how he sees his job at Solare

responsible, sustainable behaviour is part and parcel of its daily work
routine. In a dozen farms and fields in the county of Kent, the “Garden of
England”, a dedicated team of nature-loving people have been cultivating,

producing, harvesting and packaging delicious fruit for Mansfields for decades.
The agricultural company lives from nature and consequently very much relies on the power
of the sun. The headquarters in Canterbury is equipped with a photovoltaic system with over
3,200 modules, which has an output of 1.1 megawatts and produces one million kilowatt hours
of solar power per year. Mansfields uses the energy itself, thus covering almost 30 per cent of
its own power consumption. By way of comparison: in numerical terms, the amount of solar
power generated could supply around 250 single-family homes for a year. In order to keep
a constant eye on the plant, Mansfields relies on monitoring and intelligent control with the
Solar-Log™ – further proof that Solar-Log™ products manage plants of all sizes efficiently and
profitably. Just 12 months have passed from planning the large-scale PV plant to its connec-

tion to the grid. This was also due to the dedicated work carried out by the regional partners
Edward Energy and BeBa Energy, as well as Solar-Log’s country partner Sibert Solar.

Spaß, Motivation und ungeheuer viel Leidenschaft dabei“,

oftmals anstrengenden Tage. Nicht nur die eigene Arbeitsweise wurde völlig neu definiert, auch beim Produkt selbst

„Jedes Problem ist eine verstecke Lösung“, sagt Holger Schroth und will diesen Satz auf

Herbst vergangenen Jahres hat er das Marketing von Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS)
verantwortet, neue Ideen entwickelt und zahlreiche Projekte und Konzepte auf den Weg
gebracht. Seine langjährige Erfahrung in der PV-Branche bringt er nun in seiner neuen
Position als Leiter der Bereiche Produktmanagement und Entwicklung bei SDS ein.
Beruflich stand der heute 43-Jährige schon immer unter Strom. Das begann mit der
Berufsausbildung zum Elektroinstallateur. Der jugendliche Drang, die heimische Provinz
hinter sich zu lassen, führte ihn später zur Bundeswehr, wo er auf seinen Berufseinstieg
aufbauen konnte und Fernmeldesoldat wurde. „Fachverwendung“ heißt das im militärischen Jargon. Nach zwölf Jahren als Zeitsoldat – auch im Auslandseinsatz – war es für

allgemein gültige Tipps. Bockbier passt gut zu deftigen
Fleischgerichten wie beispielsweise einem Schweinebraten. Mit einem Export macht man bei Geflügel nichts
falsch. Ein schönes frisch gezapftes Sieben-Minuten-Pils
dagegen ist ein guter Begleiter zu einem Fischgericht. Bier
muss keineswegs nur Begleitgetränk zum Hauptgang sein,
weiß der Brauer. Er empfiehlt, zum Dessert ruhig mal ein
Weizenbier auszuprobieren.

Ausprobieren, neue Wege gehen: das macht auch Dominik. Immer wieder wagt er sich an neue Biersorten und
braut auch gerne saisonale Biere wie Winterbier, Märzen,
Maibock und andere Spezialitäten, die jeweils nur für begrenzte Zeit ausgeschenkt werden. Der Brauereimeister
ist offen, macht aber nicht jeden modischen Quatsch mit.
Was gut ist, darf bleiben. Auch beim Brauen wird seine

Bodenständigkeit deutlich. Er probiert zwar gerne Neues
aus, setzt aber auch vielfach auf bewährte, überlieferte
Rezepturen – so sie denn noch vorhanden sind.
Ein absolut außergewöhnliches Geschmackserlebnis ist
sein streng limitierter Alb-Bourbon. Auch wenn der Name
anderes nahelegt, handelt es sich dabei um eine Bierspezialität – eine, die es mit 8,2 Prozent Alkoholgehalt in
sich hat. Dabei wird fünf Monate gereifter Doppelbock zur
Nachreife für ein weiteres halbes Jahr in frisch entleerte
Bourbon-Whiskeyfässer gefüllt.
Der umtriebige Brauer- und Mälzermeister Dominik Reger
liebt und lebt seinen Beruf. Mit seinem Einstieg bei der
regionalen Brauerei Lehner hat er gemeinsam mit einer
Reihe weiterer Idealisten dafür gesorgt, dass die traditionsreiche Brauerei auch in Zukunft weiter ihren beliebten Gerstensaft herstellen und vertreiben kann. Als wäre
er mit all diesen Aufgaben nicht ausgelastet, hat Dominik
neulich einer weiteren, längst untergegangenen regionalen Biermarke seine Referenz erwiesen, indem er ein Bier
unter diesem Namen gebraut hat.
Er ist halt ein Brauer mit Leib und Seele. Und mit Herz.

Trying things out, exploring new approaches – that’s what
Dominik does too. He’s forever experimenting with new types
of beer and also likes to brew seasonal beers that are only
served for a limited time, such as Winterbier, Märzen, Maibock
and other specialities. The master brewer is open-minded,
but doesn’t go along with every nonsense that is currently in
vogue. What’s good can stay. His down-to-earth approach is
also evident when brewing. He likes to try new things out, but
also often relies on proven, traditional recipes – if they’re still
available. An absolutely extraordinary taste experience is his
strictly limited-edition Alb-Bourbon. Even if the name suggests
otherwise, it’s a beer speciality – one with an 8.2 per cent alcohol content. In this process, five-month matured Doppelbock is
filled into freshly emptied Bourbon whiskey barrels for another
half year for post-maturing.
As a busy master brewer and maltster, Dominik Reger is
someone who loves and lives his profession. By joining the
regional Lehner brewery, he and a number of other idealists
have ensured that the traditional brewery will continue to produce and sell its popular amber nectar in the future. As if not
fully occupied with all these tasks, Dominik recently honoured
another long-lost regional beer brand by brewing a beer under
its name.
He’s simply someone who has thrown his body and soul into
