The PV ground-mounted plant was installed by the company Walter konzept service GmbH on the landfill Nattheim and put into operation in 2011. Distributed over three sub-plants, the complete plant comprises 7,040 solar modules and generates approx. 1,750 MWh per year. Since this is a landfill site, there is a low earth cover layer. For this reason, screw-in anchors were used as foundations.
